He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sherman and Violet Madara Sherman; and his brother Norman Sherman of Reading, PA.. He is survived by: his wife LaRue; his children, Cindy Cavinder, Craig Sherman (Sandy) and James Voigt (Roberta); his granddaughters, Gwyndolyn Cavinder, Sylvana Cavinder, Kandyce Sherman and Chelsea Vass (Justin); his great grandchildren, Keegan and Kodie Bernard; his sister Linda Allmendinger (Karl) of Topton, PA; and his son-in-law Clay Cavinder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, loved ones, special friends.
Due to Covid 19 mandates a memorial service celebrating Al's life will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Roanoke Metaphysical Chapel 1488 Peters Creek Road Roanoke VA 24017.
