He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Baird and Olive Baird; and his brother Bryant Baird Jr. (Shirley). He is survived by: his wife Shirley H Baird; his daughter Lisa M Baird; his niece Beverly Baird; his nephew Scott Baird (Stacie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shelbie and Spencer.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northern Virginia Family Services in Oakton Virginia or Richmond Fisher House and Foundation in Richmond Virginia.
