As Maria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garza Rodríguez and Carmen Lozano of Garza; and her husband James Ruby. She is survived by: her sister Georgina Bergeron of Alexandria, VA; her sons, Greg Ruby (Morgan), Jim Ruby (Patricia) and John Ruby (April); her grandchildren, Spencer Ruby, Kirsta Ruby, Victoria Ard, Veronica Ruby and Vanessa Ruby; and her great grandchild William Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
