He was predeceased by: his parents, Uriah Lamont and Adviery Powel Lamont; and his son Hector Lamont, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Legister of Fort Washington, Maryland; his grandchildren, Teshandra M. Purcell, Ronaldo Purnell Cragwell, Nikaya Legister, Hector Gilferd Lamont Arthur and David Alexander Lamont Arthur; his great grandchildren, Yasudee Scott, Alyrnza Wilson, Ayanni Wilson and Alaya Wilson; and his nieces, Celina Dawes and Cresencia Ulloa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
