He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Swedo and Barbara Swedo (Piecuch); his wife Jo-Lynn (Pagoria); and his brothers, Leonard and Edwin.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Swedo (Jill) of Newport Beach, CA, Gregory Swedo (Susan) of McLean, VA and Barbara Tookey (Chuck Snider) of Rougemont, NC; his grandchildren, Jack, Christopher, Jenessa, Elizabeth, Emily, David, Katie, Michael, Ashlyn and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Paul, William, Leo, Rose and Genevieve. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
