It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Tyson Sr. (Triangle, Virginia), born in Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Tyson, Sr. and Hula Mae Craig Tyson; and his siblings, James T. Tyson, Jr. and Charlotte Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Bridges; his sons, Jonathan Alexander Tyson and Bruce Theodore Tyson, II; his daughter-in-law Dr. Colby Tyson; his siblings, David Tyson (Sarah), Gregory Tyson (Tawanda), Ruby Little and Linda Bridges Campbell; his brother-in-law Brian Campbell; his nephews, Damian Bridges and Joshuah Campbell; and his friends, Anthony, Angela Bell and Francisco Jimenez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
