She was predeceased by: her husband Howard H. Scott, Sr.; her parents, Elton N. Gladden and Amy Killmon Gladden; her granddaughter Kimberly Marie Downing; and her sisters, Elinor Dykeman, Daphne Joynes, Ethel Forkum, Betty Jean Harrison and Juanita Fletcher.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Disharoon (Keith) of Dalbys, VA and Wayne Downing (Cheryl) of Cape Charles, VA; her sister Sarah Ann Twisdale of Willis Wharf, VA; her granddaughters, Crystal Downing Handy (Craig) and Heather Bredimus (Robby) of Cheriton; her great grandchildren, Wayne Handy, Laura Handy, Brianna Morales, Jose Morales, Kayley Reyes, Lee Mears IV, Alyssa Bredimus and Logan Bredimus; and her great great grandchildren, Elijah Berube and Jameson Berube.
Flowers will be accepted of memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
