Lawrence Stevens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Stevens of Townsend, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hyden Stevens Sr. and Dorothy Hart Stevens; his wife Etta V. Stevens; his siblings, Roland, Hyden, Johnny, James "Jim" Stevens and Barbara Tilghman; and his daughter-in-law Lois Ballard Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Stevens of Cape Charles, L. T, Lisa Allen (Glen) of Kissimmee, FL and Sherry Williams (George) of Newport News; his grandchildren, Nicole Stevens Cummings of Cape Charles and Thomas Stevens (Ellen) of Exmore; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Ryan Stevens, Zachary William Stevens, Sophia Stevens, Benjamin River Stevens, Hannah Jane Stevens and Luke Wyatt Stevens.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Capeville Masonic Cemetery.
