It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Walden of Toms Brook, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Allen and Ruth Stickley Windle; and her husband William Raymond "Bill" Walden. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Walden, Sr. (Bettie) of Strasburg, VA and Patrick Walden (Carolyn) of Toms Brook, VA; her grandchildren, Amanda Palmer, Michael Walden, Jr., Patricia Stine and Heather Grabenstein; her stepgranddaughters, Monica Martin and Jennifer Simon; and her close friend Linda Weakley. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
