He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kimberlee Jones (Clarence), Angela Holland (Thomas), Lesley Simpson, Antoinette Washington Tabb, Ronnie Simpson, Dewayne Simpson, Fredrick Harper, Chris Elder Sr. and Samuel Elder; his sisters, Veronica Wilson (Reginald) and Karen Bartlett; and his aunt Mickey Gresham (John). He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
