She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Jefferson Samuel; her brother Gary Baker; her parents, Gary Eustace Baker and Nealy Baker; and her parents-in-law, Walter and Blanche Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, Nikki Samuel Hogge (Tommy), Thomas Walter Samuel (Shay) and Ginger Samuel Thompson (Scotty); her close friend David Jenson; her grandchildren, Bubby Hogge, Jacob Hogge, Amy Dunbar (Ben), Whitney Auerbach (Wayne), Caitlin Whisenant (Danny), Avalon Davis, Chloe Thompson and Camden Thompson; her sister Sylvia Allgood (Larry); her sister-in-law Edith Baker; and also, Sherl (Melvin), Yvonne (Steve), Allen and Ashley (Dan). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
