She was predeceased by: her father Harold F. Hinton. She is survived by: her mother Anna Hinton of Williamsburg, Virginia; her husband Paul E. Steger of Toano, Virginia; her children, Edward Strassle (Sabina) of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and Ellen Fergus (Michael) of Chester; and her grandchildren, Trista Strassle, Brooke Strassle, Olivia Fergus and Joseph Fergus.
