He is survived by: his daughter Morgan Merline; his parents, Patrick James and Nancy Bates Dowling of Spartanburg; his wife Tracey K. Dowling; his son-in-law Marshall Merline of Greenville; his stepmother Harriet Dowling of Seneca; his brother Craig Dowling (Linda Dowling) of Peachtree City, GA; and his niece Natalie Dowling of Greenville. He is also survived by relatives, colleagues, and close friends.
