It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Lou Whitaker Sager of Timberville, Virginia, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Heggie B. Whitaker; and her spouse Francis "Sandy" Guy Sager. She is survived by: her children, Tamara K. Baker (James) of Mt. Jackson and Rodney D. Sager (Jada) of Moncks Corner, SC; her grandchildren, Rachel Kline, Parker, Piper Nuckolls, Phoenix Sager, Veronica Sager, Ashley Bradfield, Dwayne Hall, Christopher Hall, Kyle, Logan Baker, Heather Hall and Lynden Baker; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tarryn, Heinrich Kline, Adriana Sager, Austin, Ariella Bradfield, Sayge, Colt, Kye and Roy Hall; and her sister Virginia "Dilly" Holliman of Thompson, GA..
