She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Grant Sager; and her close friend Raymond Gary Simmons. She is survived by: her mother Gladys Heishman Sager of New Market; her son Robert Stroop (Mia) of Broadway; her grandchildren, Miranda Ruby and Dakota Sheppard; her great grandchildren, Raelynn, Conner and Colin Ruby; and her brother Randy Sager (Marcella) of Broadway.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren (17988 N Mountain Rd, Timberville, VA 22853). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (18207 N Mountain Rd, Timberville, VA 22853). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren (17988 N Mountain Rd, Timberville, VA 22853).
