She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Eugene and Joan Weddell Smootz; and her son Zane Smootz. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Custer; her son Eric Fadley of Strasburg; her brother Steven Smootz of Culpeper, VA; and her pets, Puggy, Booger and Cujo.
