He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lee and Wilda Pearl Johns (Walker); and his son Jordan Chrobot. He is survived by: his children, Connor, Cassandra Brill and Morgan Chrobot; his former wife Kandy Rowzie; and his siblings, Rex Johns (Gail), Grant Johns, Marie Washburn (Richard), Paula Dempsey (Winfield), Gail Cummings and Julie Johns (Hank Dorochovich). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
