He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Henry and Katie Marie Spitzer Arehart; his wife Vada Halterman; and his siblings, Nancy Dove, Bev Arehart, Catherine Keister, Anna Tribby, Lowell Arehart, Walter "Bud" Arehart, Betty Biller and Hunter Arehart.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Brumbaugh (Ken) of Broadway; his grandson Josh Brumbaugh (Jorge Zavala) of Stephenson, VA; and his sisters, Evelyn Sampson of Harrisonburg, Linda Arehart of Broadway, Peggy Sellers of Broadway, Margaret Dillon of Broadway and Debbie Wolverton of Mt. Jackson.
