He is survived by: his brothers, Teddy Updike (Denise) of Richmond, Mark Updike (Sharon) of Broadway, Justin Updike of Harrisonburg and Kevin Updike (Lisa) of Dayton; his nieces and nephews, Jonathan Updike, Ariel Updike, DaVinci Updike, Crystal Updike-Stuhlmiller, Landen Stuhlmiller (Grace), Zackariah Stuhlmiller, Aaron Updike, Michael Updike (Megan), Lyric Updike (Mason) and Anna Updike; his great-nephews, Kamon Updike, Kai Updike and Jaiden Cox (Nick Cox); and his great-niece Alisha Coverstone. He is also survived by numerous great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Bridgewater (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
