He was predeceased by: his daughter Bobbie June Jeffries; and his mother Mattie Poston Penwell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Penwell of The Plains; his children, Terri Jeffries of Woodlawn, VA, Michael Jeffries (Maria) of Fancy Gap, VA and Jeff Jeffries; and his brother Gilbert Penwell of Woodstock, VA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
