He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem P. Jones and Johnsie Ada Bowyer Jones; and his siblings, Clem Jones, Jr., Clifton Jones (Buster), Naomi Johnson (Bink), Pauline Blankenship, Ruby Doxzen and Katie Hammock.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamilton Jones; his daughters, Lynette Hudson (Michael) and Jennifer Miller (Jason); his grandchildren, Jolee and Jenna Miller; his sister Marie Wright; his sister-in-law Jeanette Turpin Jones; his nephews, Eddie Blankenship and Cecil Blankenship, Jr.; and his pets, Tiger and Missy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
