She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulys Metcalf and Carrie Hensley Metcalf; and her husband Grady Sparks. She is survived by: her son David Sparks (Michelle); her grandchildren, Joshua Sparks, Ryan Sparks and Brigitte Sparks; and her siblings, George Metcalf (Shirlene), Catherine Collera and Aldree Slagle (Jack). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
