With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zella Mae Lester of Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Lester; her siblings, Homer Griffith, William "Pete" Griffith, Samuel Griffith and Elsie Lester; her daughter Lettie Lester; and her grandchildren, Hubert Allen Owens and Elizabeth Mealling.

She is survived by: her sister Jean McPherson; and her children, Leonard Lester, Roscoe Lester (Barbara), Chris Owens, Dianna Mealling (Al) and Rick Lester (Debbie).
