William Howard Puckett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Howard Puckett of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Bluefield, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coy Puckett and Edith Lockhart Puckett; his sisters, Blanche Mullins and Billie Yost; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Yost and Bill Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Robins Puckett; his children, Gwen Puckett Tester (Ronny) of Christiansburg, Virginia Bridget Puckett Bradshaw (Dallas) of Bland and William Howard "Todd" Puckett Jr. (Robbin) of Gladys, Virginia; his sisters, Bobbie Sheets (Ralph) of North Tazewell, Betty Phillips of Live Oak, Katy Wynn (Earnest) of Tazewell, Virginia Carroll Profitt (Garland) of Blountville and Sue Barnett (Russell) of North Tazewell, Virginia; his brother-in-law Ralph "Moon" Mullins; his grandchildren, Kayla Hallum (Jacob) of Princeton, Kara Tester (Hunter Westmoreland) of Christiansburg, Virginia Trey Tester (Kaitlyn) of Christiansburg, Virginia Ella Puckett, Kennedy Puckett and Wyatt Puckett of Gladys, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Bricyn Asbury, Will Hallum, Jax Hallum, Michelle Hallum and Caiden Hallum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home of Tazewell (870 W Main St, Tazewell, VA 24651). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The UMWA Chaplain Corps will conduct a memorial tribute, followed by the VFW Post #9640, which will conduct the military rites.
