He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Asbury and Mary Elizabeth Sparks Asbury; his wife Barbara Ann Planiczka Asbury; and his brother William Kirk Asbury. He is survived by: his children, Danita Asbury Smith of Cedar Bluff, VA, Christina Asbury of Tazewell, VA, Willard Thomas Asbury, Jr. of Ellijay, GA, Deborah Aguina (Noe) of Stockbridge, GA, Robin Asbury of Stockbridge, GA and Luis Asbury (Melinda) of Nemours, WV; and his siblings, Helen Boothe (Woody) of Baltimore, MD, Beaulah Davis of California, Vicki Murphy (Bob) of Virginia and Walter Jim Asbury (Brenda) of Georgia. He is also survived by thirteen grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
