She was predeceased by: her parents, John Millard Abel and Esther Harrison Abel; and her husband Dillard Dale Putnam, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Dillard Dale Putnam, Jr. (Kayla) of Thompson Valley, Crystal Shrader (Jonathan) of Tazewell, VA and Reaninia Stevenson (Jared) of Dryfork; her siblings, Roger Abel (Vicki) of Pulaski, VA, Evon Perkins of Tazewell, VA, Brenda Smith (Roger) of Tazewell, VA and Ruby Vencill (Kenny) of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Dillard Dale "Trey" Putnam, III and Carl Lucas Putnam; and her stepgranddaughter Nevaeh Shrader. She is also survived by her boys, loved being everyone's mother and was an ideal mother who felt her grandchildren.
