He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Puckett and Hazel Puckett; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Puckett and Carolynn Sutherland (Roger Sutherland); his parents-in-law, P. I. and Edna Yates; and his cousin James Robert "Bobby" Sheets.
He is survived by: his close friend Henry Taylor; his wife Debbie; his daughters, Amy Greer (Chuck Greer) and Sarah Matney (Brandon Matney); his brother George Puckett (Brenda); his nephew Mark; and his grandchildren, Dylan and Madeline Greer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, close friends.
