It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Atlas Perkins Jr. of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Atlas Perkins, Jr.; his sister Teaha Perkins; and his grandparents, Fred, Helen McGlothlin, Whitt and Helen Perkins.
He is survived by: his mother Mozelle McGlothlin Perkins of Cedar Bluff; his siblings, William Perkins of Cedar Bluff and Mehayleigh Perkins of Cedar Bluff; and his close friend Joe Lester. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
