He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Marco Waddell and Virgie Belle Hall Waddell; his son Stuart Clinton Waddell; and his siblings, Leonard Waddell, Billy Homer Waddell, Raymond Hubert Waddell, Aubury Huston Waddle, Stuart Curtis Waddell, Albert Troy Waddell, Mary Kate Waters, Helen Pauline Lynch and Emily Witt Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Bobbie Jean Thompson (Wayne Thompson, Jr.) of North Carolina, Roy Thomas Waddell of Mississippi and Roger Lee Waddell (Rhonda Waddell); and his sisters, Eula Ruth Linkous and Elizabeth Maxine Kitts. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
