He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bobby" Smith and Mary Jane Viney Smith; his niece Mary Jane Smith; and his close friend Steven Reed. He is survived by: his daughter Charisma Smith of Tazewell, VA; his sister Ashanta Smith Jackson of Bristol, VA; and his cousins, Jack McDonald and Curtis Johnson.
