She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Puckett and Ruth Farley Puckett; and her brothers, Paul Edward Puckett and Jerry Puckett. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Sluss of Tazewell, VA; her children, David Sluss (Karen) of Bluefield, VA and Kym Decker of Chattanooga, TN; her sisters, Constance Sparks, Patricia Chapman of Ringgold, GA and Shirley Eckstein of Roanoke, VA; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Decker, Bradley Decker, Aurora Decker, Meghan Decker, Isaiah Sluss and Leah Sluss.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grandview Memory Gardens (38057 Gov George C. Peery Hwy, Bluefield, VA 24605).
