It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Riley Buffalow of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Cucumber, West Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Riley and Nellie Porterfield Riley; her husband Cecil Kenneth Buffalow; her daughter Charlene Buffalow Smith; and her siblings, Billie Kate Riley, Bernard and Harold Riley.
She is survived by: her son Cecil Buffalow (Janet) of Fayetteville, GA; her grandchildren, Christa Carrier (Jon) of Newnan, GA, Chad Buffalow of Fayetteville, GA, Charon Wood of North Tazewell, VA and Andi Cunning (Sean) of Senoia, GA; her sister Juanita Hollis of Georgia; and her caregivers, Kim Smith and Chad Hurley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
