She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Alex Randolph Valdo; her children, Thomas R. Valdo of Holland, MI and Ann V. Howard of Chandler, AZ; and her mother Grat M. Mullin of Tazewell, VA.. She was also cherished by her 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
