She is survived by: her children, Mark Swafford of Tazewell, VA and Terri Viney (Steve) of Tazewell, VA; her sister Wyomina Bell of Rocky Mount, VA; her grandchildren, Stephanie Wade (Fred), Keisha Swafford, Brandon Viney, Shannon Moore (Brian) and Steve Viney, II; her sister Ollie Watkins; her nephew Cicero Goddard; and her close friend Beverly Shelton. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
