She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Mary Magdalene Mitchell (Crouse) of Tazewell, VA.; her siblings, Marrs of Maryland, Lloyd Mitchell, Mary Belle Dowden, Pearl Furches and Reece Mitchell; and her husband Glen Hodges, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Forrester (Tom), David Hodges (Linda), Donna Emert (Les) and Douglas Hodges (Tabitha); her grandchildren, Thomas Forrester, III (Cherie), Tyler Forrester (Erica), William Ramsey (Hannah), Stephen Ramsey (Ashlee Underwood), Matthew and Andersen Hodges; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Anna Forrester, Kingston, Lucy Ramsey, Loki Ramsey, Cole, Kate, Corinne and Kaden Forrester.
In lieu of flowers, she has requested donations be made to Shrine Hospital for Children and or Children's Hospital.
