He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey "Berry" Marrs and Lillie Mae Dye Marrs; his daughter Lillie Catherine Marrs; and his siblings, Cloyd, Sherman, Shirley Marrs, Mary Lou Rose, Agnes Nunley and Beulah Asbury.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Jada; his daughters, Karen Beavers (William "Mike" Howard), Sharon Jennelle (Scott) of Tazewell, VA and Ginger Kinder (Nathan) of Bland, VA; and his siblings, James "Ed" Marrs (Ella) of Tip Top, VA and Wanda Howington of Skygusty, WV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
