She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Mahaffey and Elizabeth Mahaffey. She is survived by: her husband Earl Frederick Sluss, Sr.; her brothers, Orlie Mahaffey and Lester Mahaffey; her children, Mary Ellen Tombakoglu, Becca Lynn Pridgen, Earl Sluss, Jr. (Jane Sluss) of White Plains, NY, Frank Sluss (Deniza Sluss) of Bluefield, VA, Betty Brainerd (Harold Brainerd, III) of Tazewell, VA and Danny Sluss (Patsy Sluss) of Tazewell, VA; and her sister Carol Riggins of Gary, WV.. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
