He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Necessary and Dorothy Sue Mustard Necessary; his son Kenneth A. Necessary, Jr.; and his brother James Bascom Necessary. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Thompson Necessary; his children, Marsha Laney (Pete) of Bluefield, VA and Michael Necessary (Sara) of Wise, VA; his sisters, Sue Parker (Bill) of Parkville, MS and Joyce Asbury of Gratton, VA; his grandchildren, Whitney Beard (Chris) of Tennessee, Michaela Tabor of Radford, VA, Nicholas Jackson of Wise, VA and Bradley Tabor of Bluefield, VA; and his great grandchild Ezra Beard of Tennessee. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
