John Wimmer Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2020, at the age of 90, John Wimmer Jr. (Tazewell, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quincy, Sr. and Cora Lee Meredith Wimmer; and his siblings, Cecil, Grat, Ray, Lucy, Margie and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Baldwin Wimmer; his children, John Quincy Wimmer, III (Chris), Philip Roger Wimmer (Rhonda) and Ellen Elaine Rasnick (Larry); his grandchildren, Angie (Frank), John Q., IV (Michelle), Brett, Kristina, Ashley (Mark), Sheena (Chris), Larry, II (Laura) and Chad (Dorothy); and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Zachary, Sierra, Joshia, Gabriel, Tanner, Tyler, Eli, Luke and Jayden. He is also survived by other great granddaughter due in August; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We offer humble gratitude to Tazewell Heritage Hall for allowing Quincy to come every day to socialize, visit, eat, assist, and love him as he continued to be with "His Mae" as she suffers with Alzheimer's.
