He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed and Ida Mae Hagy Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Sidney Kirby Puckett; his children, Melissa Anderson of Princeton, WV, Rejohnda Puckett, Leigha-Marie Wilson (Andrew) of Vinton, VA and James "Cody" Anderson Puckett of Vinton, VA; his sisters, Betty Jo Whitt (Junior) of Cliffield, VA and Judy Honaker of Thompson Valley, VA; his nieces and nephews, Jerome Whitt, Wesley Honaker, Cherie Honaker and Christine Rutherford (Walter); his great-nephews, Cody, E. J. Rutherford and Maysn Honaker; his great-niece Brookie Crabtree (Dylan); his aunt Mable Thompson of Tazewell, VA; his cousin Johnny Gray; his friend Jehovah; and also Xavier.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be cremation and due to Covid, a memorial through zoom will be held at a later date.
