He is survived by: his daughter Evelyn D. Hager of Tazewell, VA; his grandchildren, Michelle Conklin of Tazewell, VA, Martha Berry of Tazewell, VA and Michael "J. R."; his great grandchildren, Renae Shifflett (Scott) of Glade Spring, VA, Hunter Infante' of Abingdon, VA and Zachary Taylor of Springville, VA; and his sisters, Faye Rose (Sonny) of Baptist Valley, VA and Margaret Phillips of Hickory, NC..
