He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dewie Wilson and Ollie E. Kiser Wilson; his wife Catherine; his son-in-law Rob Altizer; and his brother-in-law Jack Hawks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Pomrenke (Karl) of Radford, VA and Lisa Altizer of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Joseph Pomrenke (Piere), Logan Altizer and Carly Altizer; his great grandchild Abigail; his brothers, Ronald Wilson (Shirley) of Ohio and Walt Wilson (Emma) of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Helen Hawks; and his close friend Stella Ford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial donations be made to Tazewell Christian Church, 591 Pine St. Tazewell, VA 24651.
