He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McNeal Wright and Virginia Irene Lockhart Wright; and his siblings, William Cyrus Wright, Kaye McCoy, Jean Uphold and Linda Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Wright of Tazewell, VA; his daughters, Dreama Musick (Walter) of Honaker, VA, Teresa Ramsey of Tazewell, VA, Angie Miles (Robert) of Wytheville, VA and Christy Wright (Barry Webb) of Springfield, VA; his brother Robert Wright, Jr. of Gratton, VA; and his close friend Matthew Smith of Radford, VA.
