It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eunice Short Addair of Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Short and Cora Atwell Short; her husband Hobert Addair; her son Hobert Douglas Addair; and her siblings, Venus Short and Carroll Short.
She is survived by: her daughter Iris Shelton of Bradshaw, WV; her grandchildren, Dawn Jones (Toby) of Richlands, VA, Kevin Shelton of Avondale, WV and Kasey Addair of Tazewell, VA; her great grandchildren, Ethan Addair, Kristen Addair, Peyton Shelton and Paisley Shelton; her great great grandchildren, Colin Addair and Blakelynn Addair; her close friends, Brandon Payne, Teresa Payne, Dorothy Short and Rebekah Addair; her nephews, Will Atwell and Wayne Addair; and her niece Rosetta Lawson.
