She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Rex and Winnie Altizer Russ; and her sisters, Josephene Barnett and Maxine Steele. She is survived by: her son Christopher Lynn Russ of Baptist Valley, VA; her close friend Larry Sawyers of Cedar Bluff, VA; and her sisters, Ada Brown of Cedar Bluff, VA, Vernie Young of Richlands, VA and Jessie Payne (Claude) of Hopewell, VA..
