It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Brown Hayslett of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Gap Mills, West Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Renick McCallister and Blanche McMann McCallister. She is survived by: her children, Robin Hurley (Chris) of Tazewell, VA and Brad Reginald Hayslett of Chester, VA; her brother Wendell G. McCallister (Geneva "Gennylynn") of Chester, VA; and the father of her children Augustus A. Hayslett (Rebecca) of Covington, VA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
