It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Irene Little Williams (Tazewell, Virginia), who passed away on April 19, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparent Ambrose Andrew. She is survived by: her grandparents, Dora Matilda Roop Little, Jesse Abner and Daisy Irene Hash Vance; her husband Thomas Melvin Williams, Jr.; her daughters, Christina "Chrissie" Irene Anderson, Russell Andrew Peters of Bristol, TN and Sarah Denise Williams of Tazewell, VA; and her siblings, Patricia "Pat" Ann Little, Kedric Conn Edwards, Sr. of Castlewood, VA, Susan Marie Little of Tazewell, VA and Jesse Andrew "Butch" Little of Tazewell, VA.
When asked what kind of flowers she would like for her funeral, she once answered, "None. I think it would be nice if everyone just took someone they love out to dinner." Pursuant to her wishes, the family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to our local food pantries, so more people who are struggling to share a meal together may do so.
