He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paxton and Judy Stevens Dye; his son Joshua Delp; and his brother Jimmy Delp. He is survived by: his wife Leeann Delp; his children, David Delp (Amber) of Richlands, Tabatha Delp (Chris Nowlin) of Marion, Travis Delp of Marion and Brandon Delp of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Kamilya Miller, Kaylee Pilkins, Zachary Pilkins, Reese Nowlin, Will Nowlin, Xavier Delp, Elizabeth Delp, Madison Delp, Abigail Delp, Nathaniel Hamonds, Emilee Hull, Adam Anderson and Adian Delp; and his siblings, Johnny Pruitt, Jackie Pruitt, Barbara Pruitt, Missy Boyd and Andy Delp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
