He is survived by: his daughter Claudia J Asbury of Oxford, NC; his grandchildren, Devon R McLaughlin (Terrell) of Hickory, NC, Aron M Beck of Creedmoor, NC and Roger D. Harris, Jr. of Hickory, NC; and his great grandchildren, Jaymee R Downey, Jayce R Downey, Gionni T McLaughlin and Kyrie T McLaughlin of Hickory, NC.
