With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jean Blackburn of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Ona Wiles Evans; and her siblings, Bonnie Roark, Shorty Evans and Roger Dale Evans.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Lee Blackburn; her children, Brenda Tabor, Barbara Harold, Connie Ratliff of Va, Patty Hall (Joe) of Bluewell and Ricky Blackburn (Hope); and her brothers, Roy Evans, Jr. (Sarah) and Bruce Evans (Esther) of Ohio. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
